St Paul’s Church in Papanui

Join us at any one of our Sunday services.  We are located near the Harewood Rd / Papanui Rd intersection next to the railway line.

How to get here

Bike: Take the Northern Line Cycleway to Harewood Road. Turn east along the southern side of Harewood Road. The church is right there. There’s a bike stand in front of the St Paul’s Hall.

Bus: St Paul’s is well served by bus. The bus stop outside the church is served by the Orbiter (anti-clockwise Northlands to Burnside High), 27 (to Northwood) and 125 (to Westlake). In the opposite direction the bus stops are a bit further away. There’s a bus stop in front of Mitre 10 and another on Main North Road in front of the Mobil petrol station for the Orbiter (clock-wise to Northlands and Eastgate), 27 (Huntsbury) and 125 (Redwood).
Bus stops for Line 1 and 95 are on Main North Road and Papanui Road: Bus 1 (to Belfast and Rangiora) and Bus 95 (to Pegasus) northwards depart from Main North in front of the Mobil petrol station and from Papanui Road near KFC; Bus 1 (to Princess Margaret Hospital and Cashmere) and Bus 95 (to the City and Ara) southwards depart from Main North Road near Loftus Street and from Papanui Road outside Veggie Fresh.

Car: There is car parking outside the church and alongside St Paul’s Hall. For the parking alongside the Hall, if coming from Papanui Road / Main North Road, turn left immediately after turning into Harewood Road. If coming from Harewood, you can normally turn right into the car park just before the traffic lights. It is not possible to turn right if exiting the St Paul’s Hall car park. There is more limited car parking near the church. If coming from Papanui Road / Main North Road turn left about 200 m after the intersection. If coming from Harewood turn right about 200 m after the railway crossing.
